Description	Photograph taken between 1904 and 1907 of the building housing Carl Spoerer's Sons Company located at numbers 400-404 South Fremont Avenue. After their father's death in 1899, sons Charles and Jacob Spoerer took over and ran the company, gradually changing their father's carriage, wagon, and truck business into a business that built motor vehicles. This picture shows the annex that was built in 1904 onto the old shop at 400-402 South Fremont Avenue, using their father's former residence at number 404. On the front of the building is a hand-lettered sign advertising Spoerer as "sole agents for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company". Standing at the near corner of the building are 15 workers; behind them are numerous wagon wheels stacked along the side of the building.
